I don't know about downloading games, but I know POGO.com has some pretty good ones. Also www.c-h-e-s-s.com has an instant play chess game applet. If you are looking for more obscure games like go or reversi, yahoo should have that. But if all else fails, just type "free game downloads into google or yahoo searchbox.
