It's free and the world/environment is 3D, but the characters are 2D.

This particular server is full of nice and helping people with an average number of about 100 online at any time. It's not much of a roleplaying game where you have to follow quests and paths that everyone must take, but it's the other players that make the game through parties, guilds, wars, etc.
By the way, it's wayyy worth the download.

Reply:on playfirst.com you can download 60 minute trials for most games. There are two games (diner dash and pirate poppers) that you can legaly download the full version for free (but it has ads in it).
